The Government of Canada has issued below requirements, as of 21 February 2021 at 11:59PM Eastern Time:
Travellers will be required to undertake two COVID-19 Molecular tests when arriving to Canada before exiting the airport, and another during their 14-day quarantine period. Before leaving to the airport, travellers will be provided with a COVID-19 test kit or instructions for taking their tests during their mandatory quarantine period.
Travellers will be required to submit their travel and contact information to local authorities.
Travellers will have to submit suitable quarantine plan electronically via ArriveCAN before boarding their flight or crossing border.
Travellers arriving by air will be required to reserve and stay in a government-authorised accommodation for up to three nights, at their own expenses.
Travellers must present proof of having reserved and pre-paid for their accommodation through ArriveCAN.
Exemptions:
Travellers proof of a previous positive test result taken between 14 to 90 days before departure to Canada in lieu of a negative test will continue to be exempt from testing on arrival and during quarantine.
These travellers will also be exempt from the mandatory 3-night stay at a government-authorised accommodation, but must still quarantine for 14-days at a suitable place of quarantine.
