New Entry Requirements to Aqaba

As part of the government's strategy to open Jordan for tourism during a global pandemic, Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority - ASEZA has released a new set of requirements for entering the southern part of the country. Effective 01 July 2021, travellers are allowed entry into Aqaba if they meet the following conditions:

  • Travellers holding a proof of taking two doses of COVID-19 vaccination.

  • Travellers holding a proof that 21 days have passed after the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination.

  • Not-vaccinated travellers must hold a negative PCR test result 72 hours before departure.

  • Minors are exempted if both Parents are holding a proof of taking two doses of COVID-19 vaccination.
