Qatar Airways to resume flights to Moscow

Press released on 7 February 2021

Qatar Airways has announced plans to resume flights to the Russian capital Moscow.

A three times weekly service (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) will commence on March 2, using an Airbus A320 configured for 120 economy and 12 business class seats.

Flights will depart Doha at 03:05, landing into Moscow Domodedovo Airport at 08:20, with the return leg leaving Moscow at 17:20 and landing back into Doha at 22:25.

Qatar Airways has gradually rebuilt its network following the onset of COVID-19, with just over 120 destinations currently being served, and plans to increase this to 130 by the end of March.

The carrier recently announced a further ramping up of its US services, with the resumption of flights to Atlanta and frequency increases on other routes.

Last week the airline confirmed that Silver, Gold and Platinum members of its Privilege Club scheme, whose tiers are due to end this year (and who have not earned enough Qpoints to retain it), will see their status extended until December 31, 2021.
